Principles

hypox.ch can be used without registration. We do not use analytics or tracking tools, do not display advertising and do not pass personal data on to third parties.

Inputs in the mortgage calculator

Your entries in the comparison calculator (e.g. purchase price, mortgage amount, model) are processed exclusively in your browser and shown as part of the address bar so you can share results. We do not store them and do not link them to any profile.

User account and application storage (app.hypox.ch)

The mortgage assistant on app.hypox.ch works without an account — your data then remains stored exclusively in your browser. Optionally, you can create a free user account to save your application and continue later or from another device. For this we process your email address and, optionally, your name; passwords are stored exclusively as cryptographic hashes.

Application data is only stored on our Cloudflare infrastructure if you explicitly save an application to your account. It is accessible only through your account, is not passed on to third parties and can be deleted in the app at any time. To delete your account, contact info@datenpfleger.ch.

AI-assisted document analysis (app.hypox.ch)

When you upload a mortgage contract or account statement as a PDF in the app, an AI model automatically reads the relevant key figures (e.g. amount, interest rate, term) so you do not have to enter them by hand. You review and confirm all details before they are saved.

The analysis runs entirely on our Cloudflare infrastructure via Cloudflare Workers AI using an open-source language model (Meta Llama). Your documents are not transmitted to external AI providers such as OpenAI or Google and are not used to train AI models. The uploaded PDF and the extracted data are only stored if you are signed in to your account and can be deleted in the app at any time.

Cookies

On hypox.ch we use a single, purely functional cookie (“lang_pref”) that stores your language preference for twelve months. It contains no personal data and is not used for tracking. When you sign in on app.hypox.ch, the app additionally sets a session cookie required for login — it is not used for tracking either.

Hosting and server logs

This website is operated on the infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). When you visit, technical access data (IP address, time, page requested, browser identifier) is processed to the extent necessary for secure operation and to defend against attacks. Cloudflare is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Under the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) you have, in particular, the right to access, rectify and delete your personal data. Please contact info@datenpfleger.ch.
